Summary
This is an ideal program for students of all ages to start with when it comes to composition and creating a piece of music. There are many different versions of Ejay such as Dance Ejay, Hip-Hop Ejay and Director Gold that allow students to combine musical instruments such as drums, bass, keyboards and voice while also providing the facility to record external sounds in a very easy to use interface. Ejay has the advantage of using modern music as its medium which makes it very appealing to all ages at Junior and Senior cycle. Students encounter dance and hip-hop music styles and can build complete tunes using samples and simple drag and drop principles. It also has great potential for demonstrating musical concepts such as structure, texture and dynamics.
