Summary
Sibelius is a very popular and powerful music notation package ideal for writing, playing, and printing/publishing music notation. It has a broad range of notation features, and is ideal both for classroom use and for the Leaving Certificate Music technology option. For the teacher it is a valuable asset in teaching the rudiments of music and as Sibelius provides an intuitive interface where students can input and edit music quickly on a wide selection of staves it contributes to the workflow in the classroom.
