Language learning tools This section is based on some of the tools that were demonstrated at Joe Dale's French.ie Workshop: Integrating ICT tools for French in NUIM in Feb 2007. Although the course dealt with French, the tools are easily used in other languages. Joe Dale is French teacher at Nodehill Middle School on the Isle of Wight. It is very useful in creating creating four different activities than can be created from the same teacher created content. The content can be entered in any language as issues such as fadas and accents can be entered using the toolkit. Spellmaster
According to the Spellmaster.Com website, the flash games are used in scores of countries by tens of thousands of students. The website provides some pre-created activities in wide range languages.
The games perform a vital part in motivating, entertaining and educating students in a classroom
Games included Jigword,, Matchword, Speedword and Wordweb.
It will require winzip or another compression tool to open the zip file
