Model Art Gallery

On Thursday 24th of March, 6th class went to The Model Art Gallery in Sligo town. The exhibition was on Jack B. Yeats paintings. Jack B. Yeats was W.B Yeat's younger brother.
The exhibition was named "The Outsider". It was named this because he painted people who had unusual jobs such as flower sellers, sailors, clowns and fruit sellers. Jack B. Yeats painted many sad clowns in his pictures; almost all of Jack B. Yeats paintings were very thickly painted. Sometimes Jack B. Yeats didn't even use a brush for some of his artwork!
When we returned to the school we were inspired to do a little art work of our own.Can you spot the original Jack B pictures??
