A Walk in Our Area

Last Thursday, 13 th of September, was such a beautiful day that we all walked down the lane.

First we walked past Father Michael’s house and stopped to look at the head stones. Then we all collected conkers from a huge Chestnut tree. Everyone got loads.

After that we had a look at the old school and organic garden. Our lettuces are getting on well.

Then we went down a narrow grassy path and saw lots of sheep and cows. A few of us tried blackberries and some of us picked haws.

We climbed a ring fort; it was exciting! We did bark rubbings on a fallen tree and that was great fun. Then some cows followed us, they were very funny.

We returned to the school at 2.30. It was a fun day but very tiring and everyone including teacher had a brilliant time.
