April News.

Once again we had a great assembly before Easter when we had twenty seven happy children- the winners of the easter egg raffle organised by our parents association. We also had many medals on display following the community games art and modelling competitions.Well done to all the children who competed in the events.

Mary Cullen.

One of our past pupils paid a visit to us recently following her great success in the European championships.Mary Cullen displayed her bronze medal and spoke to the children about the race and her training regime.Mary encouraged all the children to participate in sport and to enjoy the experience but to succeed you have to be prepared to make sacrifices and work hard.Real words of wisdom!

Our Easter Bunny!

We also had another special visitor to our school before Easter when Anna brought her lovely pet rabbit Muffin to school. Anna is an expert on the care of rabbits and she spoke to a number of classes outlining her daily routine of feeding ,cleaning up after and playing with Muffin.It was the first time many children had seen a rabbit close up and they all enjoyed the experience.Thank you Anna for sharing Muffin with us.
