History comes to Life!

We all enjoy a story or legend and one of our favourites has to be Helen of Troy.The pupils in third class entertained all classes in the school with their enjoyable performance of the Siege of Troy a short play published in the Intouch magazine .Achilles,Hector, Paris and Menelaus are now familiar names to the children and the audience were indeed transported back in time to Ancient Greece and the battle of Troy .Performed in the classroom the standard of acting was excellent and this performance will be remembered for its sense of fun and large array of weapons !!
