After 27 years Seán Dolan Retires
Many thanks Seán for all the years you have driven and cared for our pupils. You have been our bus driver since the school opened, taking children, safely, to and from school and on many, many school trips. We wish you a happy retirement. You will be sorely missed. And a thank you to all the drivers and transport staff, pictured here with the Principal, for all your work this year.
6th Class School Tour
Donegal Adventure Centre
A great day was had by all despite the wind and the rain! With opportunities to canoe, climb and absail it was an action packed day that ended with pizzas all round in the Pizza Hut.
Film Project in 3rd Class
Third class were involved in making a film and had a Premiere showing of "The Visitors" to parents on 28th June. It was a great success, especially for a first attempt by both children and staff. Below are two shots from the film and one preparing Peter's car as the alien space ship! Unfortunately we chose a windy day for this shoot which cased enormous problems for the film crew!! We are still picking up bits of foil from the school grounds! Well done everyone!
Fairy Tales by 4th Class
4th Class retold three fairy tales in their own comic fashion. The tales had funny twists to them and the characters were often larger than life brilliantly played by 4th class pupils. The plays were performed in the hall to the rest of the school and to parents. It was clearly great fun to be a part of this project and thanks go to Teacher Elaine McDonagh who has stood in for Carl O'Rourke as 4th Class teacher since Easter.

2nd Class Cheque for Bóthar
2nd class have made a DIFFERENCE. We have donated €425 from our first communion money to Bóthar. We would like to send a dairy goat and 3 hives of honey bees to families in need. Did you know that a goat can produce more than 4 litres of nutritious milk a day? Bees produce sweet, medicinal honey and valuable wax, both in high demand at local markets. more importantly they pollinate trees and plants in the surrounding area, thereby improving fruit and vegetable yeilds. WELL DONE 2nd CLASS!
5th Class News
