Halloween Assembly and Fancy Dress -Friday the 28th of October 2011

We were delighted with all the colourful costumes on display at the annual fancy dress assembly.This year the children were asked not to wear masks and it was great to see all the smiling faces!Mr O' Sullivan began the assembly with a photostory of all the recent activities in the school.He reminded all the children present of the importance of wearing bright clothing when out trick or treating.He also reminded the children of the dangers of fireworks and urged all to have good manners when out and about at night.Entertainment came in the form of song and rhyme.Our infant classes performed Little Ghost and I'm a Little Pumpkin.First class sang Púca,Púca and second class recited Lazy Witch.It ended with third class and The Haunted House.Each class paraded around the hall to the sound of Thriller and the children all enjoyed another Halloween in the company of their friends and schoolmates.
