Maths Week 15th-17th February 2010.

We are all very conscious of the importance of Maths and so for the third year in a row we dedicated three afternoons to various maths activities with the senior classes enjoying nine different tasks and our junior classes experiencing six.All areas in the school were used with the big maths games in the hall,maths trails along the corridors and the remaining activities including board games,construction,dice games,dominoes, card games,shape and pattern activities and interactive games on the laptops and whiteboards taking place in various classrooms around the school.The driving force behind this project is Peter and a special thank you to him for all his extra work preparing for what was as always a most enjoyable few days for the children and hopefully they will be inspired to think that MATHS IS FUN!
