Green Day.
There were at least forty shades of green on display around the classrooms and playgrounds on Wednesday the 16th of March when uniforms were abondoned and the green theme was brought to life!The pupils donated €1 each and €206 was raised on the day.A big Thank you to our parents for supporting this event .
Cumann na mbunscol Table Quiz.
Once again pupils from fifth and sixth took part in the annual Cumann na mBunscol table quiz in the Teeling Centre Collooney on Tuesday night the 8th of March 2011.Forty four teams of children took part from schools around the county.The quiz lasted just over one hour with eight rounds of questions including many sporting questions , a picture round and one Irish question in each round. We were delighted when our sixth class boys team of Barry,Noah,Ronan and Malachy came third on the night.The winning team came from Culfadda and Calry NS came second.Well done to all involved in the organisation of this quiz and to CJ Fallon for sponsoring the event.
